Last week the PoliMi-Ca’ Foscari unit applied several selected protective coatings on the mural painting “Necesse” by SMOE Studio in Milan. The protective coatings are applied on a mural painting to protect the surface from aggressive agents of anthropic and environmental nature. The selected coatings will be evaluated over the Superstar project in terms of aesthetical and chemical compatibility, hydrophobicity, durability, and penetration depth.
