This week the research unit composed of CNR-SCITEC (Perugia) and CNR-ISPC (Potenza) coordinated by Dr Laura Cartechini carried out the first in situ non-invasive analysis campaign on the case studies selected in Milan. The analyses were conducted on the opera “Necesse” by Smoe and “Orme” at the Ortica district of Milan (Italy). The information obtained will be crucial to characterise the composition of the mural paintings and the state of conservation of the materials.
